5.9L H.O. cummins block heater??

i just bought a 2004 h.o. 5.9L cummins and was wondering if they come with a block heater or do i have to buy one and install it myself??

the engine is ready to have one put in but it is much cheaper to order it through a cummins dealer versus a dodge dealer. the price through cummins is like 20 bucks and through dodge is like 60 bucks

but yes your motor is ready to take a simple plug in play block heater to make it as easy as possible for you to keep your motor warm

whats the difference between a dodge dealer and a cummins dealer?? im confused.

The cummins dealer and dodge dealer sale the exact same part. dodge dealers just sell it for more. Go to cummins.com and you should be able to locate a dealer close to you. The cummins dealer sells only parts for cummins motors of any type or size.
