case 4490

is it true that if that if you turn the pump up @ advance timing that the engine will run hotter(like alot hotter asif they cant handle it)? it gained 200rpm just by straight piping it does good just when you start gradual incline pulling 32' cultivator it starts to lose power.. would it be possible for 200hp out of the 4490?

Advancing the timing actually cools it back down. The turning up the pump is all the heat. Add a pyro and crank up the pump, then see how hot the EGT's get when it's really working hard.

Not unless you jack with the governor. It wil still limlt the RPMs. As said before, adding fuel makes more heat, not advancing the timing.
