Cool AFC Housing

Anyone ever tried running without the afc arm I was just reading about it and wondered how that would drive like. I was also thinking about going with the star wheel full forward and the housing full foward do you think that would be too smokey.:smoke

i am running without mine. Its great. My starwheel is all the way forward and not to sure about the housing. We grinded the fuel plate down to a 0 and no arm back in it

96 12v, rebult injectors, aftermarket manifold, intake, southbend clutch, straightpipe 4' pipe to a 6' tip, isspro gauges. #10 fuel plate, audio stuff, smoking like crazy. :smoke

If you don't have an arm, it doesn't matter how your starwheel is setup or if its there for that matter

I don't know if you'd like it more with or without it. Thats a decision you'll have to make on your own I don't like a lot of smoke, but maybe you do  Try it and if you don't like it put it back. That goes for everything, play with it until you like it

I think of the AFC as a driving tool. If you want smoke set it on the heavy fueling side, if you don't set it so it just gives you a haze throughout the rpms/boost levels. You'll get consistent results every time.

If you remove the arm then just stand in it @0psi and 1000rpm it will smoke a lot and may never build much boost or power. You also have a chance of getting cylinder washout and damaging your rings
