Diesel Power Source Twins ????

I have been doing a lot research on twins and I am realizing my current HTT may be a little to big to be a top turbo because of slow spool up. At least that is what every company I have talked to that sale twin set ups are saying for my specific use, which is towing.

So, does anyone out there know some one running Diesel Power Source Twins?

Here is the link, let me know what you guys think.

Says it uses similar to HTB2 or Phatshaft as top turbo. Thats not much different than what you have now. I'd look into something with a S300G 57/65/14 as a top turbo over an S400

Here is the setup that they are using, let me know what you guys opinions are.

The top turbo is a D-Tech 62/12/65, the bottom turbo is a HT3B 74/26/76.

Thanks
Steve

Those are Jacob's twins yeah? His price is good on them. However, I'm not too sure on the reliability of the D-tech turbos. I do hear that they use the same ETT wheels as HTT and II though.

The 65mm turbine wheel definitely helps with spool up on the twins, as does a 12cm housing. You may be able to have that done to yours. You could also consider stepping down to an he351/(ht3b or s400). That works really well. There is a guy on Cummins Forum, that just did that. Sold his 62, and built a 351/3b set up, and broke even, including a new 5" exhaust. He did it for the same reason as well. Spool up. Said it runs like a dream now, and is a completely different truck.

Hey Sean I appreciate the input. I need to buy a complete kit so I can plug and play basically. I do not have the time to do any fab work etc.... I have read and looked at the thread on the cummins forum and like what I see. That is what I would like to get accomplished.
Are you telling me the D-techs turbos are not as reliable as some others?

How much do you think I could get for my HTT?

What does everyone think of this kit?

Its an S300/S400 kit, or you can select the "2/3 kit" where you select either HX35, S300, or HX40 style as a top turbo that you already own and it comes with the piping and bottom turbo only.

They do have great stuff but seems a little bit more expensive. I think I need to sale my HTT 62/71/13 and get a 62/65/12 then I am ready to go with a 2/3 kit for sure.
I really like how there stuff looks.
