Need advice on a truck

I need advice on a truck I am interested in purchasing. I have owned two 7.3 PSD's previously and am pretty familiar with them. I am not the savvy when it comes to the 6.0.

The truck is a 2003 F350 crew cab XLT with 71,000 miles on it. They are asking $14,900. The Carfax comes back clean. I had an Oasis report done and the head gaskets and EGR cooler were replaced at 51,000 and the bed plate was replaced at 55,000.

Should I be concerned that these have been replaced or glad that someone else already had the work done?

Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Read the whole report. Truck looks like it was used hard in it's earlier years, then no history after Nov-06', which makes one wonder. Possibly it was sold/traded and not used much by the new owner, or it was not used much anymore due to other reasons, which would make me concerned. Check the thread at the top of the 6.0L forum by Bismic called "What to to look for when buying a used 6.0L", it's full of good info. If the truck was truly repaired correctly, then it may be ok, but I would have someone that is very familiar with the 6.0L look it over for you before purchasing, even if it cost a few bucks, it would be money well spent.

There are a lot of good 03's out there, but, the newer the truck the better. 05 has some good programming and hard part advancements and 06 has some more.
