GEM Module

I took my truck to the dealer because i could not fix my ABS problem. After $85 they told me i have a bad GEM Module, which is a General Electronics Module, that is going to run me about $800. Has anyone heard of this? Anyone got a spare F-250/ 350 around who might sell me the part for a reasonable price? Also, any input.

I bought mine for under $300 and installed it myself.

See what genie144 can do for you.

Other options are available.

PM me if he can't help.

i'd like to know where it is located. but it has to do with my ABS light, O/D light flashing, and speed-o-meter is not working. its not a huge problem, just an inconvenience. from what i understand, the rear speed sensor ties into it before sending the signal to the speedo, but since the module has taken a crap, ABS is not working and no speedo.

Well, I don't think I'd fix it until like a day before I traded it in:
