Question Brakes??

I have a 93 f250 and i think i have rear brake problems, sometimes when i take the truck off the parking brake it will not want to move and sometimes i get a a jerk and it moves. It only happens sometimes and i am guessing when i was washing it i got some water in the parking brake components, what should i do to fix this??

I'm guessing it's just the cables themselves that have gotten rusty and too tight to release on their own.

The factory parking cable routing is horrible with tight bends... esp. near the spreader bar on the driver's side.

See if you can get some spray lube into the cables, and if you are feeling ambitious, re-route them. Worst case, its time to change them out.
