There is a star nut on the inside of the backing panel on the rear brakes. Look for a slit, then turn it with a screw driver/or the brake tool a little at a time.

I wish someone would come up with a drive line brake for these things, I've got a new pedal assembly, and adjust the rears and it works when it wants.

do you have to pull the rear tires off or is it like to older trucks with drums with a little plug that you pull to get to the adjuster on the inside of the wheel assembley

It's like the old drum brakes. Pull the plug and play with the adjuster.

Hmm.

Mines a stick, when it holds it'll hold in neutral. Maybe try a new pedal assembly? I got one from powerstrokeshop.com for around $70.

I've seen and been in dozens, and I've yet to see one that'll hold on a significant hill.

Did you raise the rear and check the drag while you were adjusting them?
