379/C15 build

Bought a 2005 379 that I want to build. It has a c15 Accert in it not sure on the serial numbers because she hasn't made it home yet.

I plan to build the motor from the block but my question is do I rebuild the accert that is in it or do I use the 6NZ that I have in a 2002 9900 international.

The 6NZ I have is only at 450 I would like to be at least 550-600hp when all done. What do I need to change when I rebuild it? Was planning on ordering a platinum overhaul kit from cat.

This is my first project going to be a learning experience for me.

De accert that engine you got ! I've never done one my self on my own but had few trucks I've bought that had it done converted back to single a kit is needed and Iva's backed off and ecm tuning has to be done ran and pulled just as hard as any
6NZ I've ever had . You set up a bxs right and a good tune in it fuel system in check and air to air and turbo's not leaking not too many factory 550 6NZ gonna hang with you . That's for sure .
