06 kenworth heater problems....

Has anyone had problems with the blend door operation on the newer t 600,t 800,w900.......my 06 wont shut the hot air off. i installed shut off valves on it for now so i can shut the heat off for now. just havent had the time to mess with anything in th dash yet. the bunk heat operation works perfectly, just can cant turn the hot air to cold air up front, thats why i think its the blend door. just wondered if anyone else was haveing or had any issues with theirs. thanks for any info guys.

They dont have a blend door unless its a T2000,wether its the multiplex dash or the old you probably have the heater control valve[water valve]under the heater box malfunctioning, have someone operate the hot/cold knob while you stand out and look at it,if its the old dash it has a cable,if new has a eltric actuator on it,if its moving full 1/4 turn both ways than its prob bad internally, remove and take shop air or blow into it Im not sure what dash u have by the year only VIN early build 06s were old dash, mid were new dash

thanks for the info. Its got the new dash. i wasnt sure if they had a blend door or not. that makes sense though, when i tore into it a little while ago, i noticed inside the dash only a actuator for the defrost, vent, floor and that stuff and a sensor/module for the fan blower/evaprorator and ac system. could not find anything else. thats when i started wondering if it even had a blend door of some type. havent checked outside on the valve your talking about yet. ran out of time before i had to leave today. but thanks so much for the info ISX.
