I got an email asking how to time an E6. Are there any good tips, or links to find it, or has anyone done it?

It has been at least 20 years, but as I recall: you rotate the engine in operating direction until you are coming up to the timing marks for cyl 1 compression (valves rocking on 6). use the timing spec on the pump tag, retard the pump, then remove the cyl 1 injection line at the pumping element. pump the manual primer pump up to pressure and advance the pump until fuel just starts to fill the line seat on the pumping element.(fuel stop in the run position regulated air to the pufflimiter cylinder and throttle at full fuel) you can blow compressed air across the seat to confirm seep. tighten pump in this position.

As I said above this is from memory from 20 plus years ago, so try to confirm this info.
