Mack EM6 Engines 300 and 350

How to you turn the fuel up on thease injection pumps? They are set different, not the p-pump like in the EM7 engines. Thease mack trucks with thease injection pumps are in the 1980's. The only thing I know how to do is shim the puff limiter. Anyone know how to turn the fuel rate up on thease pumps?

Yup remove the six bolt cover at the top back of the pump!
You'll find a stop with two jam nuts 1/2 inch wrench size!Loosen the the back one three or four flats of the nut and tighten the front one reinstall the lid and try it!giver a little more if ya need a little more!don't exceed 1150 0n the pyro if you don't got no pyro, get one!Ya want to end up making about 22 - 25 psi boost!Don't got no boost gauge? Get one!
If ya need More info on this post over here http://www.bigmacktrucks.com and Lmackatack has a write up with pics that should straighten ya right out!

0.71 in top gear for the 2090 and 2090B

the 2050 2060 2070 had 0.60 in top gear...some of the "fastest" class 8 transmissons built but put in the slowest trucks made !

My goosh Glenn you ask complicated questions! I have never sat down and counted the teeth on a flywheel on anything Ever! The OD thing I try not to clutter my mind with them kind of facts,There is to much Rubish coming down the pipe to store info like that for me!This EGR trash has amoust taken the place of all the old info ,Kinda like pushing marbles in a tube, sooner or later one goes in one comes out! Dam I had to pass off turning up a fuel Pump to one of my students Trent.Thats how bad its getting!
