1993 DT466 injector removal

Do you usually have to have a puller to remove injectors on a mechanical DT466? My handle is dieselman but I am not a diesel mechanic just a laid off aircraft mechanic, a 40 ft. school bus that will soon be our rv. home,
I am proud of taking a 6.9 from a f250, taking the engine down to nothing , having it bored .030 over & having the heads done, crank polished , putting it back together with a little help from the little lady, putting it into a 1980 international scout, & it started on the first turn after bleeding the fuel system, I know that is nothing to what you guys accomplish! So that's why I'll have questions. Sorry for the long post wanted to share, my story.

An OEM puller helps but you can make one from an old fuel line nut (either bent slide hammer or T-top threaded puller), or crow foot the fuel line that's on it (to break loose), but clean around them well and a little panther pee can't hurt

At least on my 12v, I used a GM lug nut where the fuel line hooks up, and 2 pry bars. One was a rolling head style that I used the front 4, and regular pry bar for the last 2. Worked like a charm. Just pried against a head bolt. Might be abe to do the same on yours.

Ils ne sont pas trop mal pour enlever l'injecteur de la culasse j'utilise faisant glisser le marteau ou forcez la barre un des deux que cela.

they are not too bad to remove the injector out of the cylinder head I use either sliding hammer or prybar one of the two that it.

Merci,Marc
