Hi all, I have a 13spd rto-14613 and for some reason it will only split the last gear (9th) and does nothing when trying to split 6,7,8th. any ideas?

Check the air pressure AFTER the regulator on the transmission .is this a new problem or did it start with the cold weather? Here where it gets cold a lot we run alchohol "injectors" after the air dryer Also might want to see when the dessicant in the air dryer was changed
Eaton has a good site there is a link on some of the other trans trouble posts

It occurs warm or cold weather. I will check the dessicant in the air drier though I dont see any moisture when draining the tanks. I kinda thought if it were an air pressure problem then I wouldnt be able to split any gear whatsoever?

My tranny guy says it's an inlet or outlet from slave problem, and update to the new slave valve (plus clean the system with air tool oil). Hope that does something for ya!!

i would prolly guess the splitter valve to.but being it only shifts in the big hole check that none of the lines are kinked,it dont take much of a kink to lose some air psi.
