I have a 2001 CTD, and after it has sat for a copuple of hours you have to crank it a long time before it starts, acts like the injectors fuel pressure is bleeding off, any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

do you have good fuel pressure?

Fill in your sig so we know more about our truck (mods). What part of the country do you live in? Me personally, big injectors + winter fuel = hard starts after sitting warm for a little bit (happens every winter). Mine would also die (big sticks + winter fuel + tight TQ) when going in to D or R until I got the cold weather flash from the dealer.

Could be a dying L/P. Do you have a F/P gauge, that could tell you a lot. And are the batteries in good shape?. Just a few ideas.

It could also be fuel lines that are cracked and leaking air in. I would get the fuel pressure checked first and go from there.
