I have not been on in ages, and my truck(98 dodge 3500 12valve 4x4):shrugs:shrugs has been barn stored for a year. And it soooo looks like it.
Hear is my question, I have the entire front off my truck to do a crank seal and kdp, my tubes and boots are hideous, is there any benefit to upgrading these or should I just sand and paint(boots aren't bad just ugly stock black)?
Also I have a BHAF setup and while looking for tubes and boots I saw a filter setup where they used 4" pvc instead of the rubber accordion, anybody got any input on this?
Honestly I should post a picture of my "BARNED" truck it truly is a travesty, I should shoot myself.

there are some upgraded boots but if the stockers are still alright i would just leave them. ill try to find the boot kit.

I saw some aftermarket units that were stating more air flow, then I saw a guys post from another club that said he did it with 4" pipe.
When I put my bhaf I saw noticeable gains just wondering if I can squeeze more.

A friend of mine has a BHAF on his 24 valve with some seriously goofy looking PVC setup for the intake. With the silencer ring out that turbo just screams at all RPM, but no real performance gains over the stock tube with BHAF and zero difference in EGT or mileage.
