Pulled 2-3 truck lengths on him and held that gap until we shut them down at over 90 mph. For those of you that know, tundra's are kinda fast.

There fast for a 1/2 ton truck. Here in Colorado, they dominate other stock 1/2 ton trucks at the track. LOL

For a stock truck they are fast. Heck they beat me everytime in my 6.4 and chipped 6.0's..

I could see one beating a stock 6.4 for sure. Mostly because the turbo lag.

They obviously haven't ran againt a EcoBoost F-150 yet. Even without altitude and the benefit of turbos, the turdra will be put on the trailer.

Yeah, I heven't seen an ecoboost at the track yet, but I've heard they run pretty strong.

If you have a stock 6.7L HO I call BS. I traded my 08' Tundra a week ago for a 6.7HO. I would bet my truck that a Tundra will smoke this 6.7 in a drag race. Just look at tested 0-60 times. The 6.7 is in the 9's and the Tundra is in the 6's. I love this new 6.7 so don't take this wrong but I think your buddy was messing with ya. As far as the Ecoboost goes, they may stand a chance if their tranny pumps do not fail before the finish. As far as the other 1/2 tons, they do not hold a candle to the Tundra in a drag race.

However, you throw 6k behind any gasser and it will fall on its face. That is the beauty of 800 lbft of torque!

Rest assured, that 6.7 HO will run 0-60 a whole hell of a lot faster than that Tundra would from a boosted launch. Go try it.

When they compared the cummins, duramax, and powerstroke. The cummins 0-60 was in the 9's. I also know that I could outrun my buddy in his 08' duramax in my Tundra and he has EFI live. My Cummins will not touch his in a drag race. I didnt really buy a Cummins to win drag races though.

I ehar what your saying. But is what I'm saying is that if you do a BOOSTED 4X4 LAUNCH, you will DESTROY a Tundra to 60 AND, you will be pretty much neck and neck at the 1/4. From the line boosted, you should be two trucks out on almost any gas truck.

Well maybe mine will pick up some more power when it gets more miles on it. It is brand new still.

I sold my 08 F-450 with 488's, what a dog, I am driving my 2010 Tundra, small V8 and it screams, they really do haul butt. I am looking at trading my Tundra for a 3500 Cummins, a non dually, what did you get and how do you like it, wich engine, what gear ratio, 2500 or 3500, what would you have done different now that you have yours? Sorry for so many questions, I have never owned a Dodge before, please elaborate as much as possible. pics will be great too

I wanted a Megacab. Originally looked for a 2500 but the only Megacab I came across in blue was a 3500SRW. There was not much difference in price between the two so I decided to go ahead and get the 3500. With the 3500, you do not have the stupid tire pressure monitors and you get an extra 600lbs payload. The only options I that I really had my heart set on was the navigation and remote start and this one has both. It also has the cold weather package, spray in bedliner, cab clearance lights, adjustable pedals, and factory step bars. Mine has the 3.73 gears. What are you towing? I tow a 7Klb camper and this truck handles it like my Tundra handled my mower on a 4x6 trailer. I really liked my Tundra but this truck is night and day difference. The exhaust brake works great, it will dang near stop your truck if you downshift without even using the brakes. If you go to cumminsforum.com I have a picture there. I am on the Union Computer and do not have access to my pictures.
