My brother and I decided to go looking for a new clutch for the one we smoked at the truck pull this past weekend. We decided to go to the clutch and transmission places here in town to find out about their clutches and the cost to install. No one had anything close to what we needed. I don't think they knew they existed. We found it amusing because they thought we were crazy. One guy said we needed to spend $10k on a clutch that would hold the power.:roflmao: This was the guy that was bent out of shape when I laughed at his largest cluch that would hold 800ft/lbs of torque.
Anyway we knew we were probably looking at buying a southbend or enterprise engine dual disk. We just have to decide on either a single disk or a dual disk.

I have a used Enterprise dual disc for sale, if you are interested shoot me a PM. It has around 20k miles on it, it has never been hooked to a sled, and it has 1 3/8" hubs.

I have not used a DD clutch, had great luck with South Bend's units in the singles disk models.

BUT they ARE NOT recommended for sledpulling!

97crewcab... I have a Enterprise engine dual disk that I'm selling. Used as a daily driver with about 15,000 miles. I will sell it fairly resonable.

I have the Southbend 3850# Dual Disk, and love it!! It's a little noisy on my 03,but you can slip it with the sled,or backing and it never shakes or shimmy's,but when you let up on the pedal,it will grap and it's gone and I've even tried 3rd gear lauch's on spray with it in 4x4 with my 7950# dually and it always holds,So you can't go wrong with it!!!!!
