Hey Guys, I don't know squat about the dodges, except I wish I had a cummins, but a quick question. When I hear the first gens are the best to mod up, why is that, and what years are the first gens? Thanks ahead of time.

The first gens are from 1989-1993. Their really not the best to mod though, its very easy and free to get 70HP out of though by just turning the pump up and adjusting the timing. But with the 1st gens rotary pump you cant go extreme unless your convert to a p pump. The best cummins to mod would be a 94-98 12 valve:Thumbup: Are we having someone convert brands??

There are also some better 94-98's than others, like the 97-98 manuals have the best P-pump for fuel supply if I remeber correct! A 98 Manual Dodge Quad cab is like the holy grail of Dodges!

a 97-98 manual truck has the 215 horsepower rated P7100 Bosch pump, which even by todays standards flow an insane amount of fuel with slight modification.
