These guys have been having dyno days in Baton Rouge the last 4 years and 6.0's been taking the money with like 500hp. Isnt it wrong to leave them in the dark????? They dont even know what Cummins can do. It just really upsets me

Whoo there Skippy... You mean they have 500 HP at the rear wheels on a 6.0? No way.... Shoot a list up here and let's see "who's who" on the board.

No way.... 500 HP on a 6.0? Nhaa, never going to happen. Heck, I don't think Rich could bust 310 RWHP on a good day.

.........Wait a minute, why don't you go Ponder? I know how much ya like to Hot-Rod that truck. Why don't just go and "show'em up" on the Dyno? :poke:

You can get the power out the 6.0................
But all the power means nothing to me when it isn't reliable.
That pretty much gives you a gasoline engine.
I'll take a 400 HP Cummins over a 500 HP Powerstroke (6.0) to hot rod.

Are you serious?
410 hp to the wheels is average for a 6.0 with an SCT and exhaust. Throw in a small shot of nitrous and you are at 500

I dont know if the Dyno number of 500 Hp was accurate or not as it is a Mustang Dyno. I just assumed the 6.0 could get to 500hp. Thats not my point

My Point is How many 550, 600, 700, 800 HP Cummins are out there??? A BUNCH!!! When you get 60 trucks together for a Dyno who is going to win??? Either a Cummins or a MAX. NOT A 6.0!!!!!!

Just think if some newbie diesel guy showed up and walked off thinking the 6.0 was some kind of HP machine??????

THAT IS JUST WRONG!!! The diesel brothers of the Great State of Louisiana need a Cummins brother to show up and shatter their world. They need to see the Light! WE OWE IT TO THEM!!!!!

Oooh no, it was just some fun. :poke: I think we all know that Rich's truck will bust 500 on fuel only. And, Ponder....never in a million years would he give up MPG for MEGA HP, never. LOL

.................What's better, showing the folks "before" they have their truck or showing them up "after" they have their truck. :roflmao: Nothing beats the look of ---> I just spent WHAT to get outrun by WHAT! No WAYYYY!!! :pissed:
LOL

Mustang Dyno's are close to the bottom of my list....way close.:barf:

Just run down to Jeff's shop and get him to start tinkering John, you can bust those fella's upside the head real quick, and I'll bet you get better fuel mileage driving down there to boot :poke: LOL

Intresting, I have not run into a 500+ hp 6.0, and I have my own shop.......there is really something wrong here..........I have to look into this more. I have had a few 6.0's that needed a new engine........maybe them were the ones................I

I think that you are right. The ones that get up this high start having problems real quickly. They must be pro's at swapping engines:roflmao:

I would be love to try with my 450+ hp. but I may need someone to partially sponsor(pay) for fuel:shrug: I might be able to get some more if I have time to play with my settings. If they are really @ 500, then I don't think I will be able to beat them though.
