Ok, got to hooking up my FP gauge this weekend. The line I got for this is larger than regular white oil pressure gauge tubing. It's all the parts house had here. It's about as big INSIDE as the white regular line is OUTSIDE. you could fit the small up inside what I have here. It's not real big, but plenty bigger than the regular white kind.

What kind of FP readings should I expect with this? Should I ditch this and rework everthing with he smaller? Or wll this size be fine? I am expecting the gauge to read 1 to 2 psi LOWER than the FP actually is, considering the larger line.

Also, I've been considering running my truck on a dyno. How much of a strain does this put on the truck? Is this the same as running down the road, or what? I've never done it before and I'm very anxious to try..

FP will be the same regardless of line size, all it will be doing is pressurising the line with no flow, your readings will be accurate.

If you have ever floored your truck with a trailer in tow you just strained it more than you would on a dyno. Have no worries about it and come back with some numbers for us
