I was wanting y'alls opinion on how much mods (as far as boxes go) the new '06 cummins can stand? i have a predator box on it now, and so far i think it has tripped the fuel pressure sensor because it wouldn't start for a couple days and i had to roll it off...it didn't show any codes at the time..but later it showed a high fuel rail pressure code. I just hate to kill a brand new truck and i know the injectors are kinda tender anyway. So i guess my question is: can i keep running the box without destroying the injectors and everything else?:watchout by the way, i have guages, so i don't run it hot, and i run primrose fuel additive. Thanks for any help! :thanks:

You might have to worry about the trans first. If you want to make a lot of power. Do you have a auto or manual?

the 3rd gen will hold as much as u wanna put at it, imo, injectors are easy to change if thats what ur worried about, the rods are very strong, u will run the rail dry before u make any big power anyway w/o doing a cp3 mod. But if u have plenty of money u can make her go. my brother has an 06 and is making 600ish to the tires on fuel. he has put between the clutch and performance goodies hes got about 7g in it. its all up to you. The motor will hold the power.
