Hey I'm new at the diesel garage thing, I know a lot about diesel engines particullarly the I-6 engines. Just wondering if anybody out there has tried the ATS compound turbo kit and if so what are your thoughts and comments on the pair.

Not nearly as good as the one's I have. Check out powerbypoole.com and look at this turbos. Each set is custom built one off stuff. I'm actually interested in selling mine. Let me know if I can help you out.

What type of twins did you get and do you know anybody that has the ATS twins, I just think they would be a good idea because the bigger one picks up right were the smaller one lets up

Olee at Powerbypoole.com built mine and they're awesome. There are pics on his website if you wanna look. I run a Dodgezilla on top with a B2 on the bottom and a Tial 38mm to relieve drive pressure and regulate/tune my max boost. That is very important in keeping them working together efficiently.

how much boost do you build with that setup, and do you have an automatic transmission, i have a standard and im looking for a quick spool time with excess of 70 psi when they are turned up. Just looking for a setup that works for a standard transmission that somebody has tried thanks for the tips

Any properly tuned set of twins should do this. I've heard great things about Olee's twins and when I do twins I will either buy or copy his. I haven't know too many people that ran ATS twins specifically, I personally only know one person that did, but he ended up switching to different turbos. Also, shop around, and talk to people that are making twins.
The amount of power and fuel you want to flow, will dictate what turbos you need for maximum effeciency. That is why I like the idea of going with someone that custom builds/tunes twins to your truck, instead of selling you a kit and saying it works great.
Thats just my opinion though.
