ok my truck is 1990 f 350 and i had it running for a short time ...i got it for free from a friend...long story short, i was messin with the selinoid and i repalced it and re-wired it wrong and when i started it the starter moater kept running it took me a while to find out what it was wen i did it was too late, the truck shut off and when i tried to start it again it was cankin slow,so i tried agiain and it got slower and came to a stop...and now when i try to start it ,i can just hear the starer click,do i need a new starter???? did i freeze the engine up??? helllp:damnit

You can also short it with a screw dirver to make sure the stator is popping out .

Try jumping the truck, even with the key off if the solenoind is hung it completes the circut killing the battery . If that fails, beat on the solenoid to losen it , if that fails directly connect ur jump wires to the stater as a last test if that fails its a bad stater ,let me know if that works!!!
