are you going to use a copper gasket when you put the engine back togather? also are having any work done to the block?

Im not exactly sure, A buddy of mine recommended me to a Local Company that specializes in Cummins High-Performance Engine Building and parts so im going to take it to them and let them do the work....I just dont wanna take the chance of losing a headgasket with the amount of fuel and boost im gonna have before I get the motor setup and ready for the install in the truck...dont wanna put it in then have to take it back out cause the headgasket let go ( i wont lie i gotta bit of a lead foot at times but not all the time...i know how to control it... )

well, if the block is out and getting worked. i would put the rings on the block. that way if you warp the head it can be resurfed. that way you want messup the rings.

Yea that was the original plan....getting all the internal work done before i get the engine installed....anything thats gonna require being under the head is getting done forehand...
