Got a new one for you.

A buddy of mine is looking at 07 Dodge trucks. A salesman told him that Dodge made some 6.7's without the new emissions equipment (Bluetec). I told him to call the guy back and if he has a 6.7 without the emissions equipment buy it TODAY. Of course I bet him $100 that the salesman couldn't find one because they don't exist.:pointlaugh

By the way, he is buying a new Dodge because his 05 6.0PSD blew a head gasket at 118K completely stock, no heavy towing. Gotta love those 6.0's!

no, the early 6.7 cab/chassis's did come without the 07 emissions, so actually you're wrong.

The 6.7 bully dog was using was an early 6.7 without emissons and was a cab/chassis, I read it IN this forum,I'll do a search and see what I find

I know that they made the very early cab and chassis w/ out all the emissions crap. Very rare tho, but it is deffinately what bully dog used for their experiment.

I'm sure nplake was referring to pick up trucks and no you couldn't get a pick up with out the blue tech, just as you can't get a cab/chassis with bluetech, at least not an 07, not sure about 08.
the 07 C/C meets 07 standards, the blue tech 07.5' or what ever they call the pick up w/6.7 meets 2010 standards. the one difference I can see is the cab chassis has one big DPF and the pick ups with blue tech have a 2 can catalyst system one is a DPF and I forgot what they call the other can, which is in front of the DPF.
It's coming up on a year now that these things have been out and we still have alot to learn, I go on 4 sites a day just to try and learn all I can to help me understand my own truck.

The only 6.7's out there w/o Blue Tec crap are tractors. I've seen more UFO's than I have RAM 6.7's w/o Blue Tec, and I look for 6.7's not UFO's.

Bigfoot, The Lock-Ness Monster and the 6.7 in a Dodge Ram w/o Bluetec all on the same bull**** meter.

Yeah, he was looking at 2500 pick-ups and the salesman could not find one. Would have been a hell of a buy if he could though.

This passage is from Dodge Body Builder (http://www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/2007/docs/dc/dcmes.pdf)
