I have used this method on my duallie and other projects with great looks that last and parts that shed heat qwickly. The method is to take parts and have a ' hi-temp thermal barrier coating ' applied. I have done the inside and outside of my manifold, the Turbo housings, both intercooler plumbing piping, and any other engine part that I felt compelled to have the coating applied to. Some parts I had coated just to dress an otherwise ordinary piece to the puzzle. Any part that can absorb heat.... :Thumbup: :smoke:

But take this warning: once you start installing parts coated, they look soooooooo fine you start looking at other parts to jazz up with the great looking heat barrier. :popcorn: :popcorn:

Where do you get that stuff and what is it calledIt's JetHot Metallic Ceramic Coating Inc...... I used to send my parts down to Pascagoula, MS- But I don't know if they fared well with the Hurricane Katrina....... :shrug: I heard that area got hit .......

Pascagola got hit hard, give them a month or so before you call, it will take that long at least to get the phone service back operational. Also right now the phone line down there are pretty much jammed up, believe me, I have a MS area code cell phone.

DAMN ! That sucks because I have dealt with alot of nice people @ JetHot that no doubt live in that area................
