hey all I was just wondering if anybody knew the bolt pattern for a 1991 dodge w250 8 lugs. I need some new rims because of a rust concern. I think i heard that hummer rims bolted up to the newer 2500's but was wondering if anyone has bolted up or knows if Hummer H2 rims will bolt up???

H2 wheels will require machining. All 8 lug Dodge wheel thru 02' should bolt right on. Also all 8 lug Ford wheels thru 98' should bolt right on.

Chevy has a smaller center hole because the wheels locate on the center hole - hub centric, the bolt pattern is the same and most have cone seat lug holes.
Ford will fit if the lug holes are cone seat (budd), the metric pattern uses hub centric and metric 2 part lugs.
Late model Dodge - with the round holes - moves the tire in about an inch (backspace).
Most 8lug trailer wheels will fit, the tires move out.

so an 06 ram 2500 set of stock 17 inch rims should fit then. Also, with the trailer wheels, I would not be losing any strength correct? Are truck rims a lot stronger in durability or are they the same?

The wheel will fit, but the center caps will not go all the way on over the rear axles. They will stick out about 3/4". The AAM axles stub is a little shorter than the Dana.

However if the tire will clear is another story. If you have a 2wd there is no way the front is going to clear without some lifting. A 4wd may, but I am not sure.

I tried a pair of 03 16 in rims on my 93 with 265x16 tires and they will rub on the bed floor. It is about 1/2 in just to not rub. So with 1 1/2 in spacers they would fit. Or a different bed.
