More questions about my superduty to 12V swap.

Should I use my powerstrokes alternator and just buy or fabricate the new alternator mount? I heard that there is issues using the cummins alternator on the late model ford trucks?

Same with the A/C? I should use the ford A/C and make a bracket to hold the compressor? or use the dodge one?

Which ever way I need to go if I re-use the ford parts will accesories fan belt fit all of the pullies? Im not sure how many ribs are on the ford belts V.S. the dodge belts? Can the belts interchange?

Thanks in advance

The clutch pulley can be changed on the A/C compressor so either one works. I haven't done the swap so the mount for the Ford A/C would be second choice for me. The A/C lines won't be right so setting up for standard fittings that any hose house can make would be my choice. I like soft lines about 2 foot long and o-ring or flare ends on both ends. If the house has an o-ring upsetter the suction and discharge tubes get cut and upset with a nut and the hose has 2 matching ends or they can be converted with compression to flare fittings.

There are instructions for fitting an old 2 terminal voltage regulator to the Dodge alternator, it is common, cheap and marginal for current capacity. The old Leese-Neville is more than 4 times the money but has the capacity to feed a 200 A alternator field. The Ford alternator should be simple to fit and the belt length very close. Check the tensioner angle and compare to the stock setup to make sure of the belt length.

The alternator mount on my '93 looks like a 200 A form a HD or bus would fit with little problem, add a couple more wires of the same size to the battery, buy a welding regulator and have a welder at a moments notice. :)
