hey all,
on my 90 f350 im looking at opening up the exhaust some. im looking at running some 4'' stacks out of the box but i also know this would be obnoxiously loud if i run straight pipes on it. I was wondering if anyone had an idea on what mufflers to run to still be a good tone but not so loud i get pulled over every day

I had a 00' F-250 with a straight 4" pipe from the turbo back.. and in all honesty it wasn't that loud.. If you get pulled over tell em' it's a diesel it's suppose to be loud....

yeah that would be great if i had a turbo to run it off of but i am running it straight off the manifolds plus it is my plow truck so i dont want it to loud making my customers mad at 11 o clock at night. lol

no turbo....you will be loud
with turbo....it will get loud above 2000 rpm.
