Anyone ever use this company? They make adapters for SAE bellhousings to Chevy/Ford/Chrysler transmissions. I'm thinking about buying an adapter to use a regular trans behind my Detroit Diesel. Right now, I currently have a Roadranger in the plans. With the adapter, I could use really any heavy duty truck manual transmission. Seems like it'd be less work and better driveablility. Thoughts?
So I realize that this thread is 4 years old but I was wondering how that adapter worked out for you? I am thinking about putting a 3-71 in a 72 4x4 shortbox but I really want to keep the SM465. I was just curious how that whole operation worked out for you.
they make sae numbe 2 3 4 to chevy only you can change you belhousing to a number 2 off from a 471 or 671 you just make shure you get the same belhousing with the blower is on the same side and you need the flywheel to
