ficm logic voltage at 3 volts!

I had a truck coming into the shop today running! but running rough. I checked the basics, and ficm main power about 12.5 volts and logic was at 3.25 volts. I couldnt believe it starts and runs. Its getting a ficm tomorrow.

not sure what you mean on the # of posts, but this reading was a mistake with an otc genisys. The trucks date and vin were 07, but the motor emissions sticker was for 06. When the truck was entered as an 06, the readings were more normal for poor running, high 30s-low 40s volts. Oh well.

sounds to me the ficm still needs to be replaced. I thought it had to be rock solid at 48 volts.

I was talking about the number of screws on the ficm board. The screws is were most of us here test the ficm voltage.
