Mechanical vs. electric gauges
This may be a really stupid question but I've never put any in so here goes, is it easier to install mechanical or electric gauges? I was going to order some of these stewart warner from rpmoutlet.com that is the triple pod and mechanical gauges for $229. Then I found for only a few dollars more the electric gauges ($213 for gauges and $39 for the pod). Am I better off if I am going to run the wiring myself to get the electric?

Your better off not getting junk SW gauges... save a bit more and get a quality gauge like Isspro (or even Autometer... shhh). You can get a complete kit from Diesel manor for $300 with everything you need to finish it... Everything but the tap for the pyro.
In gauges, you get what you pay for...

For ease of installation, it's hard to beat the new ISSPRO Performax series. Do a search on this site for "Performax" and you'll see a few discussions. I am HOPING we actually start shipping some of these in the next week or so.
Regards, Michael Pliska
