2009 6.4 oil leak !

2009 Ford Harley! F250

Some Advice from a lucky guy!...

just rolled over to 6000 miles took her in to My Trusty FORD DEALER HER IN NAPLES FLORIDA NAMED AFTER us 41..aBOUT 7 DAYS AGO.
FINALY HAD 2 MIN OF MY LIFE TO RELAX AND WALK OUT IN MY DRIVEWAY only to find 7 oil spots from the last 7 days!!

As I lay under my truck asking my slef what the heck the deal did!!! I COULD SEE IT as soon as i looked up!! the oil plug was one or 2 treads from falling out!!! CHECK YOUR DRAIN PLUGS IF YOU TAKE IT TO THE DEALER! I WILL BE GOING TO A NEW DELAER! AND THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY i did n;t buy my truck from them!

thank god it did n't fall out!! ALL IS WELL OTHER THEN A MESSED UP DRIVEWAY!

I WILL BE GOINg TO SEE MR DELAER asap! I hope they are ready!

what would guys do?

I can't beleve dealers do this kind of work. but it is just kids doing the oil changes and little work like that though and a competient person should check there work to me. They have to, to stay competitive. The once they load tested my batterys, and it was -40 outside. they just drove it out and shut it off. while when i got there it was dead as a door nail. all they did was boost me. of course the batterys were damaged. they didnt hold a very good charge anymore. and i got no help from the dealer bc they still passed the load test.

Did that................great idea

The people who do the oil, fuel filter changes are very rarely techs and the job shows it. Got two free changes from the dealer and both times it was a mess not worth it, even though it was free.
