PCM Locked

I heard that FORD will be following the Dodge efforts on the 09-up to lock the PCM on 2011 and forward so it cannot be programmed, any truth to that?

I am sure if that is true.. but to solve the passable problem, a company will probably just come out with a tuneable PCM... Then again I have no clue about truck engine computer systems. This could be pretty expensive.

they have tried a few times to do that, there is always away around.

Exactly, Matt and the Nutty Profressor have already been "in there"! So I don't think it's locked very tight, if even at all.

Where there is a will, there is always a way. It just wont be like the 7.3 or the 6.0, or the 6.4; but someone somewhere will figure it out.

Just got an email yesterday from Bullydog that they have "cracked" the code on the 2009 Dodge computer. Beta testing to start in December.
