LBZ Block Heater Cord Location

While I was changing the fuel filter yesterday I figured I would snap this pic for the guys that need help with the location of the heater cord.

WHERES WALDO!?!?!

I think its on the right next to the fuel filter...you can see the plug cap...barely

Should also be noted that this is the same location for the LB7, LLY, & LMM.

no to be a dbag and jack this wayne, but this is how i found mine

The inner fender liner has been removed for access in the following pics.


The cord is routed stored with the passengers side battery cables.


The tape collar on the split loom must be cut. The cord can then be peeled out of the loom routing down to a point near the frame.

Whats the code to see if you truck has a block heater without going outside with a flashlight? Can you check it off of the VIN?

The vin will tell you. It will be part of the winter prep package... I cant remember the specific code right now.

I take it back, I remember now. The RPO code is 'K05'.
