Hi everyone, new to the TDG. I have been looking in which seems like an eternity on how to turn the fuel pump up on a 2.2L Mazda diesel. I know that the ford randgers had the same set up too. Any help would be appreciated :thanks:
Anybody here know how to make a small diesel like that dump the smoke?.... i.e. injector, injector pump, propane air intake...any work/mods tweaks that can be done? thanks
well seeing as how no one else has said anything about it, take a pic of under the hood and the injection pump and i will see if i can help you, if i get a pic of what your working with i can help you with an air intake and stuff like that, and if the injection pump looks familiar i may be able to tell you how to turn it up
k I will get pics asap hopefully tonight, im swinging more towards injecting propane after the air filter just have a manual knob or something to turn the propane on.
Stop burning "Bunker C" and replace the air filter....with a BRAND NEW one!
A "tune-up" for a diesel often includes checking injector pump timing, but if you don't have the specs with you and have never done it before, I suggest taking it to a specialist.
Its not something that's commonly done and there's really not even a "schedule" for it in a maintainance program.
I've done this before and my advice to you is to have a pro take care of that, since it requires some special tools that you may not have.
