P2509 Code

Just had this code show up for the first time: P2509
Description for it is: "ecm/pcm Power Input Signal Intermittent"
Had the electric charging idiot light show up at the same time then went away with the next start on its own.

I have 93,000 miles with no mods since have to live with Calif Smog checks. I cleared the code with my scanner. Is there anything I should look for or ignore it for now and see if it shows up again later Or have dealer look at it before the 100,000 mile warantee is up? Prolly have to have the code return before dealer could check it out.

When my neighbor had his 07.5 it would do this ( lighting bolt) but no cel. All he had to do was shut the truck off and restart. As far as the code i would call your dealer and see what they say, it will/should come back if thers is an issue.

I think I found the problem. This morning had a P0562 code show up, low voltage, and temp was 30* this am. Checked batteries and only 12.2 volts and tester indicated bad batteries. When running the alternator was show 15+ volts. These are still the orginal batteries.

Off to NAPA to get new ones.
