Cheap way Want to wake it up get the same DDEC ECM meaning if its a 3 or 4 from a Higher HP 12.7 and I promise you you will think your driving a diff truck... Get someone to change the parameters like rear ratio and tires, tranny and those things to match your truck.. You'll thank me later... And don't listen to the Detroit techs there just propaganda spreaders programmed to say.... aah section 37985y376g of the DD tech code says you cant swap them ecms or you will screw up your foohoo valve which will intern take out the farter starter and no telling what you will do to the 409 air condition springs BLA BLA Bull**** ....... Ive done it

Or what you could do is drive it and maintain it and make money then when you save enough to buy the Truck of your dreams with the "CAT" you can keep this one as a back-up. Slamming a lot of extra fuel into an engine will get you a short time gain and a large repair bill.

thanks you guys i got it all ready there sunday before puttin it to work on monday... changed filters an what not it ran decent for just a poor little 330hp engine but after i ran it all day monday my buddy at the garage is pretty smart with diesels so I dropped it off to for him to tinker with somethings for the evening picked it up in the next mornin because my buddy worked on it about all night so anys he wouldnt tell me what all he did to it but it's like 4 times the engine it was, i have no clue what he did to it but it stays cool pullin it sounds totally different and Ive gained atleast 15mph faster and 2 gears on the hills. Im sure on one thing he made a mount an put a cummins turbo on it. an Im not certain but i know he has access to alot of different parts so he may have put a different ecm on it.
