Leaking injector pump on 2001 chev duramax

Does anyone have experience on this matter. All help would be appreciated, pump works fine

How do you know the injection pump is leaking?? its buried in the engine valley

If you have a leak, more then likely its not the pump itself but the fuel pressure regulator on the back.

Its not uncommon for CP3s to leak. But first make sure that is your problem, check lines returns.. Etc.

Thank you for responing i know it is coming from the injector pump, becausei removed the alternater and compressor and sarted the truck again, and it appears to be coming from under the pump

The cp3 can leak between the aluminum and cast sides. The profile seal between the halfs can leak. Just be sure that is where its leaking not at one of gue lines.'

Thanks for responing everyone, merlin5577 is the pressure regulator on the pump this pump leaked about tthree gallon when i left itr idleing, for about 5 minutes

Im not that familiar with this injector pump is their any place i can go online and get a diagram of the pump. I thank everyone for thier help ya'll have been more help to me than the Cherolet place. Once again thanks to everyone
