The 195 HP is the second lowest offered in the line-up, to get more powr you need more Tq and that includes pistons, turbo and injectors (possibaly the HPOP as well). In fact, you may need a lager CAC and/or radiator as well.

There are lots of ways to FOOL the ECM into injecting more fuel, but this is an engineered SYSTEM and you WILL find the fuse in the driveline (clutch/trans etc).

Cummins, Detroit and CAT don't care because they don't build trucks, only engines and they have zero responsibility for the driveline.

10 mpg isnt too bad. There's ways to get more power, but if your setup is a split radiator/aftercooler, then you're in for some more spending. Those modules & stuff really dont add much, especially considering the cost.

I'd say about 5hp at best. The injectors are what's holding it back.

It's a little more involved than swapping injectors on a mechanical engine. Talk with that wrecking yard, and find some as close to your year and hp level as possible. They used so many different injector bodies, that you dont want to be mixing them up. Cost? I've seen from $79 up to $350, per injector.

More fuel won't do anything without more air, except waste fuel.....

What RPM does it turn at 60?
