Today I was lifting my bed to do some welding on a dump truck frame.I engaged pto n started raising box.when it got bout a foot or 2 up it fell down bout a foot.its never done that before.I got out n looked at it then raised it and it was fine.lowered n raised again a few times no prob.anyone know why it did that?hasnt been raised in like 3 weeks if that matters.it just fell like a foot like if the line was cut or somethin.there was no load in it.empty box

I wouldn't worry about it. If you rerouted the hose to the cylinder like you were considering in one of your other threads you got air in it that way, or it has a leak somewhere...mostly likely the cylinder packing and it sat long enough to have a pocket of air in the cylinder, or maybe the hose. Either way when the pocket of air collapsed you saw the bed fall.

make sure to block that bed up real good, we want to hear you got all the kinks out safe and sound, be extra careful working under the dump bed while is up.
