Well i might have spoke to soon service writer just called and said my truck needs heads, and im 1,ooomi. past the 12mth/12k repair waranty wtf!!!!!! advisor is calling ford to see if they will concider any relief wont hear anything until monday or tuesday, needless to say i will be praying and crossing fingers, my heads must have not been true when they replaced headgaskets and installed arp's last april, but the tech asured me they were. well can i have tech reuse arps and what is the torque sequence and oil to use on them. this blows!!!!!!!!!!

Mine blew after the ARPs where put in with warped heads. I resued the ARPs and the dealer put on new heads no problems and its been 8 months.

I've got 19 months on my studs and I've yet to add a drop of coolant..

My truck has 6 years on stock bolts and 1 year with me driving it hard. Have NEVER added a drop of coolant. Love my bolts

ive got just over a year..and i did it by taking one out and just putting the studd in all the way though the torque sequence so i never lifted the head or anything... not one issue at all

My ARP's have been in for a year this coming march and it has a season of towing and racing on it. All is good so far. I do have an EGR cooler delete en route.

Just what i thought service writer called back with the grim news from ford, for full replacement of cyl. heads and parts $5,800, anyone here me throw up because every time i think or say that # i want to, going to try to save some money sourcing parts through a friend . anyone know where i can get heads for less than $2,500.
oops gotta go im gonna be sick again
