what setting

Well I getting a Comp. My friend said they did not have any EZ's in stock and it would take three weeks to get one. What setting would be the best for mileage, daily driving and, alittle smoke. I only have a V/B so I know I can not use setting 5. : .. Oh and how hard is to hook up. :thanks:

I'd run 3x5 you get all the timing, a littile fuel and lots of smoke...... It will be sweet.....Glad you decided to step up and get the comp. you have a pyro, f/p, abd boost guage? if not, dont tap the wire yet. it wil work just like an EZ. you will need to monitior the f/p and pyro if you get into the fuel....

I don't want to tap the wire right now. I am waiting for the injector pump to die and they will not warrenty it if the pump is pierced. I have a f/p, and trans, pyro is a little down the road. The comp was alittle more then I was going to spend right now. So if I don't tap the wire it is only going to be the same as an EZ, thanks See ya

I believe without the pump wire tap only level 1 will work... And that is the same as the EZ.

Have fun Haz...

I put it in last night at work. I did not tap it yet like I said. But driving it I can already see some great improvement. No I need the damn pump to die so I can turn it up alittle  . Joe that sounds like a good setting, power and awsome mileage  :thanks: :

I have question, when I turn up the fuel settings I get more smoke then when they are set on the first level. I did not tap the pump like I said. I was woundering if it worked on the other settings just not a drastic as if I where to tap the pump. See ya  :

The way I understand it is that by turning up the settings, even without the tap, that the comp asks the ECM to pour the fuel on quicker according to throttle position.....that is why you are seeing more smoke
