Horn location

I am working on installing my horns and plan on adding a DPDT switch so I can use both horns with one switch. Where is the horn located or where is the easiest place to tap into my horn wires at. Thanks.

Easiest place to tap into the horns is at the horn itself. The black wire going to the horns is the power and they are body grounded.

I have looked at all the posts and downloaded the pdf but for the life of me I can't find the horns or the wiring I have read that they are on the pass side behind the bumper. Do I have to remove the bumper? I bought the truck used its a 06 SD crew cab

On my '04, it is on the pass side behind the bumper but up higher by the wheel well. I found it easier to take the screws out of the plastic wheel well and drop the wheel well out of the way to get to the wires. Even then I had trouble getting my hands in between the fender and plastic wheel well.

isn't the horn located on passanger side behind the headlight near the windshield washer fluid tank on the inside quarter panel? Might hafta take the passanger side battery and windshield tank resevoir out to locate the horn.
