upgrading

Alright i bought a 03 CR 6 speed . Now im goin with a smarty chip and a dual disc clutch for starters but now im wanting to hit 600hp with it so im wandering wat other mods im going to need. thought about the dual cp3s but not sure if i need them so just need some suggestions

Welcome to the garage! For 600hp, you will need a fuel system such as a FASS or Air Dog, a larger turbo, a set of injectors, head studs, and CP3 mods. It all depends on what you are going to use the truck for with 600hp to determine what sizes and parts to go with. If your truck is daily driven/occasional track racer, a 62mm turbo should be okay. But if you are going to be sled pulling, than maybe a 66mm would be better. If you have the cash, a set of twin turbos may also work for you. Hopefully Triton or Bill M post up in this thread, they have over 600 with single turbos.

thanks for the input , i guess if im going to spend the money i mite as well go ahead and go all out .. am i right? lol so i thought about dual cp3s , 14mm head studs ,dual turbos , smarty stacked mp8 ( still wondering witch chip to stack with the smarty) , and of course the dual disc clutch. now im not sure wat brand and how big of injectors i should get tho. i was also on the garret website and saw a gt6041 turbo with a 141mm compressor lol is that to big for a cummins

For injectors, you could contact Floor It Diesel and let Don suggest what size to go with. The most common stacks with the Smarty are the MP-8 and the Edge EZ. And hey if you got the cash, go all out!!

600 is not a hatd number to get. I hit 600 on a 99 degree day with a 100% humidity with a 2.5 charger, injectors, headstuds, exhaust, intake, dual disk clutch, and a smarty. Let me tell you that was a miserable day in that building watching it dyno it would have made more on a cooler day

alright i think ill go with the mp-8 for a stack , but wat about that turbo i found on my last post , the garret gt6041 with a 141mm compressor lol
