I got mine mounted under the front lower cup holders, that way it can be hidden. I'll post pics later.

Here's where I mounted mine, never had a problem with it being in the way.

I wonder how much of a pain it would be to put it in the overhead console? Thats were I would like to put mine.

Just out of curiosity where does it display the brake controller output?? On my 08 it shows it next to the controller.
