as far as I know only a cracked head will cause this. maybe other members will chime in with any other info.

Maybe a bad injector and a blown HG? How does it run? Smoky? Low power? Any other symptoms other than you can see fuel floating on the water in your coolant reservoir?

No problems... no smoke, no loss of power... just the fuel in the coolant resevoir which spews out when the engine is hot
what is an HG?? |

head gasket. Sometimes, when an injector goes, it dribbles fuel out into the cylinder. If you have a bad head gasket, it could leak in there. But a cracked head is more likely. I guess, before we go nuts on this diagnosis, how much fuel is in there? And you are positive it is fuel?

I am positive it is fuel...
at first i thought a fuel line was punctured (only because i was never able to open the coolant resevoir because the engine was always hot). the trucks been stopped for a few days so i finally got around to opening the cap. I am positive it is fuel... how much fuel?? i don't know... probably more than a 50/50 mix in the resevoir itself, but its hard to say. |

A faulty injector cup could cause this.

Yup, I wouldn't just jump to a crack headed, thats pretty expensive to fix, O-ring ain't nothing to fix, its like a 1-3 dollar part.
