What is the most I should pay for this truck?

Hey guys I'm looing at used super duty trucks and found an 08 King ranch I really like but I am not sure what to pay.

Very loaded truck with nav, DVD, perfect in and out, upfitter switched adjustable pedals, and on and on. I will attach window sticker.

Drives very nice I took it on a extended ride on back roads, in town and on the freeway, the guy probably thought I was kidnapping him. No aftermarket stuff either, except new Wrangler 10 ply tires.

a local dealer was nice enough to run a OASIS for me, and the only things on it are the service bulletins and recalls, no other problems (reflash, radiator, etc). CARFAX also clean.

The part I am not keen on is that the truck has 39k miles and is outside the 3/36.

They are asking 40,900 right now, what is the maximum I should pay for the truck?

Thanks for your input and for helping me not pay too much for such a pretty girl.

no deal

Nope, they were completely unwilling to come off of the price. Funny though because I saw that the add changed to 39,595 this afternoon. It is a really nice truck I think I would have gone as high as 37k for it.

Offer them that and see what they say. Doesn't hurt to try.

Thanks for your input guys, I got a 2010 CC XLT FX4, and man is it nice. I got a fantastic deal on it because of a 3" scratch next to the bumper on the right rear but they fixed it for free and did an exellent job. I was looking for any excuse to drive it this weekend.

oh and by the way they have not sold the 08 yet and they have dropped the price once more on it. I hope it sits for a long time just because of how rude and pushy they were. CARMA.
