Power Steering pump and Pulley

Im trying to save a little money here and was gonna buy a pump from the parts store instead of the dealership. At the dealership for the whole assembly (pump with pulley pressed on) Its about $340.00n new. Now at the local parts sotore its between 80 and 100 bucks but thats only the pump. The problem is that they dont have a pulley that i can purchase. Does anyone know where i can purchase a pulley??? Any help would be gladly appreciated.

i know autozone rents tools and here in texas i can rent a pulley puller for the low price of free.99 so if you got a autozone nearby and your pulley its self is still good try to pull it off and get it pressed on the new unit to save you a couple hundred bucks

I would imagine you can reuse the pulley as long as the pulley is still good. I havent done a power steering pump on my cummins yet so I am not 100% sure but since the auto parts store sells it without a pulley I am making a educated decision as that you can reuse the pulley

Maybe somebody that has replaced the power steering pump on their truck will chime in soon

You may want to send Triton a message and see if he has any info or contact some cummins specific diesel repair shop
